HyperActive engineers attended the prestigious BAFTA Television Awards again this year, supporting CTV with an Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud Suite solution, alongside EVS XTAccess and IPDirector hardware, to capture all the action as it happened.

We were delighted to see that many of the night’s big winners at the Royal Festival Hall were shows HyperActive has worked on. The brilliant Killing Eve took the gongs for Best Drama Series, Leading Actress (Jodie Comer) and Supporting Actress (Fiona Shaw); and acclaimed mini-series Patrick Melrose won, er, Best Mini-Series, and delivered Benedict Cumberbatch is first BAFTA for Leading Actor. Patrick Melrose also secured Best Production Design and Best Writer: Drama in the subsequent Television Craft Awards.

Meanwhile, Steve Pemberton won Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme for Inside No 9, and there were also a couple of awards for shows our sister company Gearhouse Broadcast has supported: I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (Reality & Constructed Factual) and Britain’s Got Talent (Entertainment Programme).

The awards ceremony aired on BBC One at 8pm on Sunday 12 May, following a live stream of the red carpet on social media earlier in the day. If you missed out on all the glitz and glamour, the show’s available on iPlayer for the next month.
